Chapman chomps through Skyline Ultra...

29th November, 2025.

On Saturday 22 November, Paul Chapman took on the Kendal Skyline Ultra having had his eye on it since the inaugural event the previous year.

The race takes place over the long weekend alongside the Kendal Mountain Festival, with over 200 live sessions including over 300 speakers and 150 films.

The 50km (31 miles) Skyline route takes in The Helm, Scout Scar, Cunswick Scar, Hay Fell and Castle Hill, with 1,100 meters (3,608ft) of ascent, and because of the rainfall in the Lakes over the previous week, there was a huge amount of mud to tackle as well as all the elevation.
